P O E M — “ ON RECESSION ”

NPA‘s are on the rise,
Everywhere I can hear nothing but cries.
Asset backed securities have taken a beating,
Why the borrowers are packing and fleeing.
This recession might seem to subside
But for sure has hurt our financial pride.
Oh, what we are seeing today is financial recession,
Oh, please not another Great Depression.
Our financial markets have nosedived,
Till now no sector seems to have revived.
Everything has taken a beating,
And even the Moody‘s and S&P‘s rating.
Lehmann Bros. fell like a pack of cards,
For other financial institutions there is no guard.
